What is the most memorable Penn Relays high school performance of all time?

Nick Vena (Morristown, NJ)

The future University of Georgia star made his name early, becoming the first freshman in the history of The Penn Relays Carnival to be named High School Boys' Most Outstanding Athlete for Individual Events in 2008. Vena certainly earned the distinction, setting the National Freshman Class Record in the shot put at 63-6. He went on to repeat the feat not once but three times, becoming the only American four-time individual champion in the history of the Relays.

No other prep has won more than two titles.

Vena still holds the Penn Relays Carnival shot put record at 72-9.25.
