What is the most memorable Penn Relays high school performance of all time?

Tasha Stanley
& Eleanor Roosevelt (MD)

Eleanor Roosevelt High School from Prince George's County, Maryland is the only team in The Penn Relays Carnival history to win both the 4x800m and 4x400m in the same year. In 2007, Dominique Lockhart,Tameka Jameson, Marika Walker and Tasha Stanley combined to run 8:50, the second-fastest in U.S. history at the time.

The Raiders returned with a different line-up in 2008 to set the National High School Record at 8:43.12. Lockhart (2:13.0), Amirah Johnson (2:08.6), Brittany Ogunomokun (2:11.9) and Stanley (2:09.6) teamed up to break the existing record by seven seconds; they still lead the All-Time list by two seconds.

But still - the quartet finished runners-up to Jamaicans Holmwood Tech, who zoomed to an eye-opening 8:41.92. With something left to prove, Stanley anchored the Raiders 4x400m in 54.2 to defend their title in 3:37.16, along with Christian Hickson, Afia Charles (53.32) and Doris Anyanwu.
