Relays also played a major role in the record-breaking excitement. The Trackmasterz NC 'A' girls team got the baton around the track in 48.07 seconds in the 4x100m middle school relay. In the national elite division, Run U Xpress 'A' set a new meet record of 45.26 in the 4x100m, while Carolina Track Hawks 'A' smashed the 4x400m meet record with a time of 3:57.30. The Trackmasterz NC girls continued to impress, breaking their own 4x100m relay record in the finals with a 45.53. The sprint medley was dominated by Blythewood 'A', who obliterated the meet record by more than nine seconds with a time of 3:59.56.
Distance events saw several thrilling record-breaking performances too. The middle school 800m was highly contested, with three athletes smashing the meet record and Malina Rodriguez King emerging victorious at 2:17.13. Elle Dawson's mile run was another highlight, breaking the meet record at 5:08.73. In the championship mile, Caitlin Thomas ran 4:51.29, another record.
In the field, Virginia Gareau equaled the high jump meet record at 1.65m, while Abby Burleson's 3.94m pole vault was a meet highlight. Laila Jones launched a massive 12.48m, setting a new record in the shot put and Alexandria Jefferson capped off a dominant performance in the throws by claiming the shot put and discus titles, setting meet records of 13.80m and 44.41m, respectively, in the championship section.
