It's only February, and the 4x400m is already off to a blazing start in Texas as Shadow Creek threw down a 3:11.65 last weekend to win the Charger Relays. Shadow Creek would have their season opener the week prior and win the Pearland John Morriss III Invite in 3:15.25.
The team consisted of Jarvis Kaiser, a 300m Hurdler, Kaleb Samuels, a UIL 6A 200m State Finalist, and Zedric Thomas a 400m/800m specialist and Jason Walker a 46.38 400m Runner from this indoor season.
The result is a current US#1 by nearly three seconds with Humble Atascocita sitting at US#2 in 3:14.03 and five other Texas schools already running under 3:16.
The mark would have been US#18 in 2025 using results from the entire season. In 2025 Bullis School (MD) set the national record in the 4x400m at The Penn Relays Carnival in 3:06.31 that will now be on Shadow Creek's radar.
