Ty Steorts And Sarah Peer Shine At Live In Lou


West Virginia and Ohio brought home titles from the Live In Lou Cross Country Classic in warm conditions.

Hurricane star Ty Steorts cruised to the boys 5K invite win in 15:13 and was just off breaking his course record by a second from 2022. 13 seconds behind him was Lafayette's James Ndayishimiye who clocked 15:26. Finishing in third was Steort's teammate Aaron Kidd has he stopped the clock in 15:28. 

Ohio standout Sarah Peer easily won her second straight win. The University of Virginia commit torched the course with a 17:48 run. Ultimately, the race was for second place. Hannah Faudi was second in 18:40 and Rachel Haws finished four-tenths of a second behind her.
