No. 6: Belen Jesuit (FL)

- - -

Analysis: The Wolverines went 3-for-3 last year in meets that counted.

They were first in their FHSAA Class 3A title-race, second at the NXR Southeast Regional and then 14th overall at NXN.

It was respectable showing from the Miami-based program, which very rarely has gotten the chance to represent itself on the big stage. But that could very well happen again in 2023.

Head coach Frankie Ruiz has five returners back, including senior Joshua Ruiz, a Florida commit. Belen Jesuit also sports the fourth-best average returning in the U.S. at 15:32.68.

Biggest Question: Proving last year was no fluke on the national stage.

Belen Jesuit has gone on state championship winning-streaks before. But it's never gone 2-for-2 in regionals and qualified in back-to-back years for NXN. That should be the mission this fall beyond state.
