Analysis: North Carolina will be packed with talent in 2022. But right now, Weddington might not even be the best team in the state -- at least over the preseason weeks, that distinction goes to Cutherbertson.
So, with that being said, how will Weddington respond?
With two runners -- Grace Hanson and Elizabeth Ritter -- returning with PR performances under 18 minutes, there's no shortage of talent. But depth might be an issue. Weddington will have to build up its corps if it expects to become the best team in the state.
Biggest Question: Depth, depth, depth.
If Weddington can't find depth behind its top three, it will struggle. It's as simple as that.
