Analysis: Watch out for this Minnesota team. With four returners back and a group average of 18:48 heading into the season -- and that was without Maya Mor, who's back after an injury forced her out last season -- this team might battle for the No. 1 spot in Minnesota.
Two years ago, Minnetonka was on the map with a slew of underclassmen performers. Now, all those athletes are all grown up. The year 2022 might be the season to capitalize on all that early potential.
And with a healthy Mor -- who ran 2:14.19 in the 800m and 4:54.94 in the 1,600m this past outdoor season -- this Minnesota program could give Wayzata and Edina all they can handle.
