* Julian Carter set a new lifetime best at the AAU Club Championships in the 800m in the 15-16 age group

Marion's (AR) Julian Carter II left everything out on the track last week in the 800m, which resulted in a new lifetime best.
In the 15-16 age group, Carter grabbed a solid win in the two-lap race with a 1:54.82. This is his fourth sub-two-minute 800m performances of this outdoor season.
What stands out about Carter's performance is if he was to run in the 17-18 age group, he also would have won the title amongst the older athletes by two seconds.
