Falon Spearman Makes Her Long-Anticipated NCAA Commitment

When it came to determining where Falon Spearman would spend the next four years of her track and field career, the Providence Day School athlete spared no distance.

MileSplit's No. 12 recruit in the Class of 2022 traveled all across the United States to figure out that very thing, lining up five official visits to Harvard University, the University of Texas, Duke University, the University of Florida and Stanford University.

In fact, Spearman experienced nearly every region imaginable, spending time on the campuses in Palo Alto, California; Austin, Texas; Gainesville, Florida; Durham, North Carolina, and Boston, Massachusetts.

One of the nation's top hurdlers, Spearman finished the 2021 outdoor track and field season with personal best times of 13.54 in the 100mH, 41.75 in the 300mH and 59.41 in the 400mH. All three of those efforts place her inside the top five in the country at those disciplines.

Just which program did the nationally ranked hurdler decide on? Check out the video above to figure out her final choice.
