* San Pasqual's (CA) Elise Miller has recorded a significant improvement year-over-year

A year ago, despite steep limitations on competition placed down due to Covid-19 precautions, Elise Miller still managed to record a 40-plus foot triple jump.

This weekend, though, she throttled up just a bit more.

The San Pasqual (CA) High School senior and Stanford recruit leap off the board for a career best 41 foot, 1 inch leap as she landed the nation's No. 1 jump.

That also represented a 7.5 inch improvement year-over-year. She wasn't alone.
