JERRY PHILIPPE, BOYD ANDERSON (FL)
Philippe started his 2020-2021 indoor season strong in January by setting three personal bests in the hurdles and the 300m.
Then, at the VA Showcase, Philippe ran a personal best time of 7.32 seconds in the prelims of the 55mH, which is currently ranked No. 3 in the nation.
In the finals, he placed third behind Leonard Mustari and Emanuel Joseph.
This season, Philippe also ran a 7.79 in the 60mH at the COBRA Athletics meet at the beginning of the month -- which would be the second-fastest time of the year behind Mustari's 7.78.
His strength in the 300m and with his speed through the hurdles can carry him to the victory at the 757 Showdown.
