NO. 36 RECRUIT  - Serena Clark, Lakota East (OH)

With two track and field seasons left, Clark still has her foot on the gas and could finish as one of Ohio's best sprinters ever. 

In mid-November, the Lakota East senior announced that her top three schools are the University of Clemson, North Carolina A&T, and hometown powerhouse Ohio State. All three schools have shown major success in the sprints during their program history.

In 2018, Clark ran 11.66w and 23.97 at the Greater Miami Championships to rise the national ranks. She followed those personal best performances with even more personal bests during the 2019 indoor season.

Clark won the 200m at the UK High School Invitational in 24.09 for US No. 10. While excelling in her premiere event, Clark as ran 7.02 (US No. 25) in the 55m and 7.52 (US No. 26) in the 60m.

She went on to win her first indoor and outdoor state titles in the 200m, while also setting a state record with her team in the 4x100m relay. Clark finished her junior campaign as a New Balance Outdoor All-American, with a second place 4x100m finish,

She also remained undefeated in the outdoor 200m during the 2019 season.
