10. Christian Brothers (NJ)

Analysis: The team from Christian Brothers Academy (NJ) has made it to Nike Cross Nationals 11 out of the last 15 years.  After not making it from 2006 to 2009 they came back in 2010 to place fifth and then they won it all in 2011. Since 2011, CBA has finished in the top 10 four different times, including a second-place finish in 2013. This year the team returns with lots of experience at the national meet despite graduating their top two athletes, Tim McInerney and Luke Reid from 2018. They will bring back everyone else from their squad that won the NJSIAA XC Meet of Champions, Nike Cross Nationals Northeast Regional and finished 18th at last year's national meet.  Leading the way for the Colts will be rising senior Shaw Powell who finished 18th at the NJSIAA XC Meet of Champions, 9th at the Nike Cross Nationals Northeast Regional meet and 102nd at Nike Cross Nationals. With extensive national-level experience and an ability to reload year after year, CBA always has the potential to be one of the top teams in the nation. Watch for them to be back at NXN this year and looking for a top-five finish.
