Analysis: The guys from Tahoma Senior High School (WA) did not make NXN last year, but they will be returning six of their top seven guys from a team that won the Class 4A WIAA State Championship race. In the Class 4A race, the guys from Tahoma beat Central Valley Senior High School (WA), which finished runner-up, and Lewis and Clark High School (WA), which finished fourth. Both of those teams went on to qualify for NXN at the Nike Cross Nationals Northwest Regional. Tahoma finished eighth at the NXRNW meet in 2018. With almost all the guys returning from that team and their state meet team, they should look to be at NXN this fall. The 2018 state championships team only graduated Chandler Nill, who finished 20th at the Class 4A state championships. The guys have returning speed ratings of 179, 178, 171, 165, 164, and 151.
