Breakdown: If the name rings a bell, that's because Ariel is the sister of Tzuriel Pedigo, a recent graduate of Parkview Baptist who put down a handful of all-time efforts on the boys javelin list before his departure from high school.
She finished her freshman season with the 20th best effort in her class, a 123-foot heave that gave her a third-place effort at the LHSAA State Outdoor Championships.
Hailing from a family of throwers, Pedigo will be looking to eclipse that mark in 2019, and she's already close. She went 122-4 at the Episcopal Relays on March 14, good for 11th in her class.
