The Bears registered the kind of class that looks better as a whole the more you look at it, with boys signees such as Elijah Gifford of Austin St. Michaels (Tx.) High, Fort Worth Boswell (Tx.) High's Jalen Seals and Rancho Verde (Ca.) High's Isaiah Cunningham truly standing out. That's three elite prospects in the hurdles, jumps and sprints. Riley Richards, out of China Spring (Tx.) High, is a 16-foot-plus pole vaulter as well. The Bears count pro sprinter Trayvon Bromell as an assistant coach. The former Baylor star went pro in 2015 with New Balance.
