Analysis: Parker Stokes is coming into the cross country season as one of the top-ranked guys in not only the state of New York but the entire country. In his junior year, Stokes finished runner-up in Class B at the New York State Cross Country Championships. He was runner-up to only 2018 Pittsford-Mendon (NY) graduate Nathan Lawler.
Stokes had a big breakthrough during his 2018 track season when he won the NYSPHSAA - NY State Champs 3K steeplechase title in 9:05.67. He also won the 2018 New Balance Nationals Outdoor 2K steeplechase title running 5:53.74. He holds a 3200m PR of 9:11.26 and a 1600m PR of 4:21.79.
