* Broomfield senior Michael Mooney, a Colorado State signee, won the 3200m against a tough field on Thursday at Colorado's state championships. 

Update: 

1. In the Class 3A 110mH, Bayfield senior Carl Heide posted a PR of 14.38 (+1.3), pushing himself into the finals. He remains the favorite to win. 

2. Lutheran's Maya Evans was the fastest 100m and 200m qualifier in Class 3A with an all conditions 11.83 (+3.2) and wind-legal 24.53 (+0.6). 

3. Harrison's Tyrese Van Horne was the fastest 400m qualifier in 47.47 in Class 4A.

4. Valor Christian junior Anna Hall posted a huge all conditions PR in the 200m, posting the top qualifying time of 23.78 (+2.4). Her previous best, set in April at the Holy War Invitational, was previously 24.35. Hal also set the top 100mH prelim time of 14.12 (+0.1) seconds and helped Valor Christian to a No. 1 mark in the 4x200 in 1:41.82. Interestingly enough, Hall is focusing more on track events in 2018 than in the field, where she has excelled in previous years. 

5. Broomfield's Michael Mooney won the Class 5A 3200m title on Thursday, finishing in 9:12.97 over Harrison Scudamore

6. Monarch junior Max Manson set a Colorado record in the pole vault, clearing 17-3.5. His sister, Mia, also won a pole vault title in 12-6. 

7. Rock Canyon senior Emily Sloan set the No. 1 preliminary mark in the 100mH in a wind-legal 13.48 (+0.4) seconds.
