Year-over-year, there's been a great deal of improvement in the girls 100 meter hurdles.
And no single athlete in the United States has improved more than Tiana McMinn, a senior at Miami Norland (FL) High School who finally put focus into the short hurdles in 2019 and saw an improvement of over seven seconds.
At a higher level, a total of 11 girls have broken the elite threshold of 14 seconds in the 100mH thus far. But no athlete has seen a greater improvement among that crop than Calabasas (CA) sophomore Bella Witt, who chopped off 0.63 seconds year-over-year, lowing her top time down to a top five national mark of 13.63 seconds.
