The MileSplit network is pleased to announce the unveiling of the 2nd Annual All-City Honors campaign, which will commence on Wednesday, May 27th. Like our initial installment last Spring, the mission of this project is to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the top high school track and field athletes in cities across the country.
MileSplit All-City distinctions are intended to showcase the exceptional athletes in their local communities and serve as a conduit to our upcoming All-State and All-MileSplit National recognitions.
Each city will include:
- First Team, Second Team, Third Team and Honorable Mention in every event
- All-Freshman, All-Sophomore, All-Junior and All-Senior Teams
Publication Schedule:
All-City Honors will be released beginning on Wednesday, May 27th and continue on weekdays throughout June. Release dates are staggered by each state's championship season calendar. See the complete list of city-level release dates below.
Disclaimer:
MileSplit All-City Honors are data-driven and based on the best available verified results submitted to or captured by MileSplit. While we aim to be the most comprehensive resource in the country, inclusion is dependent on the availability, accuracy, integrity, format and completeness of meet results data. We encourage all coaches, meet directors and timers to ensure performances are submitted on time and in the appropriate format for consideration. Once All-City Honors are published, they are final and will not be subject to revision.
