The 2025 cross country season is all but finished, with one more race scheduled for this Saturday at historic Balboa Park. The inaugural Brooks XC Championship replaces the Foot Locker Nationals meet, but is contested in the same format as the ultimate long-standing individual national championships.

En route to taking home gold at the 2016 Foot Locker national meet, Southlake's Reed Brown (TX) blazed to a 15:01.80 - the 36th fastest time in Balboa Park history.
