The Brooks XC West Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at the Mt. Sac Cross Country course in Walnut, California, the top runners in the West will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

The West continues to flash both speed and depth this fall, led by Sophia Rodriguez (WA, 16:10) at the Mook XC Invite. Ellery Lincoln (OR) and Hallie Heemeyer (ID) also post impressive sub-16:30 times, reinforcing the Pacific Northwest's dominance.

California contributes a strong group under 17:10, including Aelo Curtis (Ventura), Ella Mogannam (Lick Wilmerding), Summer Wilson (Irvine), and Braelyn Combe (Santiago Corona).
