Who are the most improved boys in the 200m over 2024?

Ayden Hartzell, a junior out of Evanston (WY), has made the biggest jump since 2023, lowering his PB from  25.73 to 21.99.

That's a nifty 3.75-second improvement. This spring, Hartzell sits No. 6 in the state of Wyoming and is one of just six boys to break the 22 second barrier.

On the girls side, Eisenhower (OK) sophomore Zharria Hawkins has shown the biggest progression, lowering her mark from 29.38 as a freshman to 24.88 as a sophomore, which is exactly 4.5 seconds faster. Hawkins is the 12th-fastest sprinter in the state for 200m and the third-fastest sophomore this spring.

As far as the national leaders in the event are concerned, American Heritage's (FL) Zamarri Sanders (20.50) sits at No. 247 on this list -- that's what happens when an elite sprinter chips away time.
