Around the country, we're already in full swing as far as state championships are concerned, with many concluding their state's respective season over the next few weeks.
This spring, the 100m has been one of the most competitive events on the track, with many well-known superstars leading the charge.
While fast times were expected for some, there have been more than a few athletes who have shaved off seconds from their best from a year ago.
On the boy's side, Scotlandville's (LA) Kyree Langley has seen the biggest improvement this spring, lowering his PB by 2.25 seconds down to 10.62, which was the 20th fastest time in the state.
Adryana Shelby, a senior out of Wichita Northwest (KS) has the most improvement of any athlete in the country, going from a 14.57 season best her junior year to a 12.13 PB as she wraps up her high school career.
