Jathiyah Muhammed Soars Into The Record Books
The top vaulter in the nation in 2024 proved yet again why she's the best.
After opening up her season with a 13-0 mark last month, Jathiyah Muhammad absolutely shattered her overall PB, adding 4.25 inches to her outdoor best. She did so at 7,200 feet of elevation.
Muhammad didn't enter the competition until the eighth height and had just two misses until she passed at 14-5.25.
Then, on her third and final attempt at 14-7.15, Muhammad soared over the bar for one of the best marks in high school history.
