Just add another all-time sprint effort to Issam Asinga's stellar resume.

Asinga, the senior out of Montverde Academy (FL) and the newly-crowned indoor 200m high school national record-holder, moved up the rankings in the same event outdoors on Saturday at the Miami Alumni Invitational.

Against a slew of collegians on the campus of the University of Miami, Asinga not only beat all of his older competitors and took first place, but clocked 20.11 (1.1) to win by a nearly half a second and move to US No. 2 all-time in the outdoor 200m.

Only national record-holder Noah Lyles has gone faster in wind-legal conditions, and sits just hundredths of a second ahead of Asinga with his 20.09 (1.6) record.

But just a short time before that, Asinga also contested the 100m in another stunning effort.

The result? A casual 10.15 (-0.3) runner-up finish as a quick 200m tune-up.

It's just the latest jaw-dropping pair of performances for the Montverde Academy star, who's had a busy few months on the track.

It began at New Balance Nationals Indoor where he tied the 60m national record of 6.59 and smashed the 200m mark with a 20.48 effort. That momentum transitioned to the outdoor oval where he has already gone a wind-legal 10.10 (1.0) for the 100m, which ranks sixth in the U.S. high school history books.

And remember, it's still only April. Asinga has only contested three meets so far outdoors in 2023 -- including the Miami Alumni Invitational -- and has already surged up the all-time rankings.
