Atlanta Westminster's Grace Smith Shines At Spring Break Showdown

Grace Smith hardly even ran the 200m in 2022.
But what a difference a year makes.
The Atlanta Westminster School junior posted her fourth straight sub-25 second performance at 200 meters over the spring season on Saturday at the GA Spring Break Showdown, showcasing some of the state's top talent at the distance overall.
Her win in 24.98 seconds came less than a month off her career best 24.33 from February and is markedly better than her 2022 best of 25.10, which she accomplished roughly last year.
Not to be undersold, though, was Maurice Gleaton's double in the 100-200m.
The Langston Hughes athlete earned wins at both distance, clocking times of 10.55 and 21.54 seconds, respectively.
