There is a clear athlete atop the combined 100m outdoor and 60m indoor lists.
Her name is Adaejah Hodge, and she's from Montverde (FL) Academy.
Her time of 7.24 in the 60m was fourth in the nation. This weekend, she ran
a scintillating wind-legal 11.18 in the 100m at the FSU Relays.
The gap between Hodge and the next best athlete is 0.48 seconds, which is the same difference between second and the No. 26 athlete. The difference between the second-fastest athlete and the 10th-best one is just 0.12
seconds.
Hillgrove (GA) High School's Ryan Davis is second on the list despite
only running one indoor meet this year -- the Ed Temple Classic where she won the
60m in 7.05. But she has been consistently great outdoors, clocking a
season best time of 11.44 in the 100m and a lightning fast 23.04 in the 200m last
weekend.
