Spring is here and there are teams that will return for the 2023 season in the girls 4x800m that can have a breakthrough year.
At NSAF Outdoor Nationals, J. Serra Catholic (CA) put together the fastest 4x800m performance for the 2022 season with an 8:52.68. Last year, there were four total teams who dipped under 9 minutes in this event.
The 2023 season is already off to a fast start. Before the Lady Cavaliers clocked a national record at New Balance Nationals Indoor, Cuthbertson (NC) ran the No. 5 all-time performance at their home opener with an 8:48.47.
