The outdoor season is here which means 4x100m relays are ready to showcase some speed.
Last season, there were 35 teams who broke 41 seconds. It so happens that 20 of the top performances in 2022 were teams from the Lone Star state.
The fastest team in the nation was Duncanville (TX) which was the only team that clocked a sub-40-second performance. At the UIL Outdoor State Championships, the Panthers sprinted to a 39.98, which equaled the fifth-fastest all-time mark in high school history.
As the teams start to warm up for the spring season, it was time for us to take a closer look at the top 4x100m boys teams returning this year. Check out the list of teams below to see which of the fastest quartets will return this spring.
