Regnier Strikes Again With No. 2 All-Time 600m

Andrew Regnier is already having quite the senior indoor season.

It began with a US No. 1 time of 1:20.59 in his season opener at the LAB - MITS #1 meet in December. Then, Regnier clocked a Wisconsin indoor record and former nation-leading time of 1:51.56 in the 800m three weeks later.

Now, the senior representing Milwaukee Speed Academy has added his name to the all-time list for high school indoor performers.

At the CYUP Misfits Invitational on Saturday, Regnier lowered his US No. 1 mark in the 600m to 1:17.52, which puts him at No. 2 all-time in the event.

Coming in behind Regnier was Nathan Cumberbatch with a runner-up time of 1:18.5. That also puts the senior from Shorewood (WI) on the 600m all-time list at No. 7.

Regnier finished less than two seconds off the national record set by current Georgia Bulldog Will Sumner, who ran 1:15.58 at the same CYUP Misfits Invitational a year prior in 2022.
