Since she entered high school, Shawnti Jackson has been among the nation's best sprinters.
In 2020, the Raleigh, North Carolina native ranked in the top six in the U.S. during her freshman indoor season in the 55m, 60m and 300m. With each ensuing season since then, she's continued to improve and has become an all-time high school great.
She is ranked as MileSplit's No. 1 girls recruit in the Class of 2023.
On Saturday, Jackson will announce her college decision live on MileSplit. She will choose among Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, USC and Texas.
Those schools are clamoring for Jackson, who won the 100m at the USATF U20 Championships in June and finished third in the 100m at the U20 World Championships two months later in a personal best of 11.15.
Jackson doesn't turn 18 until May.
