The school year has ended and the outdoor track and field season has concluded for 99-percent of athletes around the country.

There was, however, one more high-profile recruit from the Class of 2022 who recently joined a Power Five program.

That top-tier talent is Andrew Bond, a sprints specialist out of South Carolina who just announced his signing to Nebraska. The senior from White Knoll High School (SC) sat at U.S. No. 16 in the 55m dash and U.S. No. 9 in the 60m dash this past winter, making him a tantalizing prospect for college coaches in need of boosting their sprint corps.

Bond also ran an eye-catching mark of 10.35 in the 100m, putting him at U.S. No. 12 this spring.

The Nebraska men were the ultimate winners of the Bond recruitment sweepstakes, but they weren't the only team going after the White Knoll standout.
