With national competition quickly approaching, many programs feature significant depth in the distance events.
When examining which programs have the best 3,200m squads, some certainly stand out from the rest.
On the boys side, Newbury Park (CA) leads the way in dominant fashion, with their top five runners all under 9:00. Colin Sahlman, Lex Young and Leo Young currently sit 1-2-3 in the national rankings, and Aaron Sahlman and Daniel Appleford both rank among the top 20 3,200m runners in the nation.
