Roisin Willis' indoor season officially came to a close Friday evening.

To say it ended on a high note was an understatement.

At the newly built The TRACK at New Balance indoor facility in Boston, Massachusetts, Willis lined up with Heather MacLean, Kendall Ellis and Elle Purrier St. Pierre and proceeded to break the world best in the indoor DMR in a total time of 10:39.91.

MacLean kicked off the relay with a 3:14.92 split for the 1,200m before handing the baton off to Ellis, who split 52.04 in the 400m.

Willis, the high school national 800m record holder, grabbed the stick ahead of record pace and executed a 2:03.30 split.

Purrier St. Pierre clocked a 4:23.55 split for the final 1,600m to bring home the New Balance team to a women's world best with a 10:33.85.

This was Willis' third record-breaking performance during her senior year. In February, she broke the national record in the 800m with a 2:00.06.

A month later, she ran a 4:50.67 opening leg for the All-Star 4xmile girls relay team that ran the fastest time in high school history and was the American U20 best with a 19:30.12.
