BYU is a track and field program known primarily for its success in the distance events and, more recently, the pole vault.

However, Brigham Young, which is expected to join the BIG 12 conference in 2023, has recently shifted its men's and women's recruiting efforts to address a few non-distance areas of their roster.

In the case of Logan Hubler, that means the hurdles.

Hubler, a current senior at American Leadership Academy Queen Creek High School, is arguably one of the more underrated hurdle talents out west. 

At the time of publication, Hubler, an Arizona native, owns wind-legal personal bests of 14.33 for the 110m hurdles and 38.18 for the 300mH. Last spring, those marks ranked him at U.S. No. 86 and U.S. No...
