Year: 2024

Event: 100m, 200m

When and Where: Christian Coleman Invitational, GA

Performance: Hodge is undoubtedly one of the nation's top young sprinters.

And this weekend at the Christian Coleman Invitational in Atlanta, the Georgia native continued that conversation with a U.S. No. 3 mark of 11.50 (+0.1) seconds in the 100m and a U.S. No. 2 effort of 23.25 (+1.8) in the 200m.

Both were were new personal records, which is really impressive considering Hodge went 11.67 and 23.66 last year.

Already, Hodge is inching closer to that elusive sub-23 goal to begin her sophomore year. Where does that current 200m time rank in the sophomore class? It's up there, slotting in at No. 9 all-time, behind a current junior athlete like Shawnti Jackson (23.06) and former stars like Tamari Davis (23.06), Briana Williams (22.5), Kaylin Whitney (22.49) and Candace Hill (22.43).

Is it possible for Hodge to make those leaps, too? In time, possibly. The 2022 season will offer a World U20 year, and if Hodge can compete and qualify, there's a strong possibility that she could lay those time to dust.
