In track and field recruiting, the Pacific-12 Conference (Pac-12) has been quietly among the best in the nation when it comes to finding gems in those same areas.

But the distance events are what have garnered most of the national spotlight for the conference's recruiting, with teams like Washington, Oregon, Stanford and Colorado often landing the best young endurance athletes in the country each and every year.

The UCLA women, however, have quietly made some very impressive moves of their own in 2022.
