Let's talk more about what the Iowa State University women's track and field program has done in recruiting.

Their incoming class is loaded with standout cross country runners, top-tier jumpers, nationally competitive throwers and accomplished sprinters and hurdlers.

On paper, few recruiting classes in the NCAA have the event versatility that the Cyclones have this year.

Recently, the ISU women have improved their recruiting class even further, specifically in the hurdles.

Over the past week, both Katie Ruffener of Colonel Crawford (OH) and Mackenzie Carney of Waukee (IA), two nationally competitive hurdlers, signed with Iowa State.
