It's not often that smaller recruiting classes garner the national spotlight. But right now, the University of Oklahoma's recruits are a talented and tightly-wound bunch. 

By our count, the Sooners have just four high schoolers who are committed to the program for next year. But that doesn't take away from the incredible raw talent this quartet has. 

Let's begin our conversation on the throws side with Columbus North's (IN) Tucker Smith. This Indiana native is an absolute star in his respective event, emerging as one of the country's best throwing talents in the Class of 2022.

The No. 33 ranked recruit in our national recruiting rankings was listed at U.S. No. 3 in the shot put during the 2021 indoor track season with a mark of 61 feet, 7.75 inches.
