During my appearance on the Nov. 8 episode of On The Line, fellow colleague Cory Mull posed the following question.

"Which programs are lurking beneath the surface and could eventually have a powerhouse recruiting class?"

One of the first teams that came to my mind was Texas A&M, specifically on the women's side.

The Aggies are a historic, well-established track and field powerhouse. They often rank among the NCAA's best rosters and often score elite high school recruits on an annual basis. 

The early recruiting period is when we typically see most distance runners make their college commitments.

As a result, a team like Texas A&M -- which doesn't typically sign high-level distance stars -- wasn't going to make that much noise, at least not until National Signing Day.
