This weekend marked the beginning of state championship season. 

And the earliest meet on the calendar -- perhaps with no surprise -- was in Alaska, where runners from the northern most state in the U.S. finished out their seasons at the Alaska School Activities Association State Championships.

We'll have more on Alaska in the links below, but that wasn't all that took place.
