Recruitment season is heating up and college commitments are beginning to pour in at an increasingly rapid pace.

The next few months will be pivotal for a handful of collegiate cross country teams that will be aiming to land some of the nation's top high school talents.

Of course, some programs are in greater need of young firepower than others.

Below, we breakdown a few NCAA cross country squads who could greatly benefit from an injection of new distance stars.

Let's be frank. The Oregon women simply didn't have a great cross country team last year. During the 2019 season, they struggled to find firepower within their varsity lineup and limped away from the national meet that year with a 26th-place finish.
