With the 2021 NCAA cross country season fast approaching, we're eager to see how certain Class of 2021 athletes will fare at the next level.

However, there is a very real possibility that some of these incoming rookies won't race at all in the fall. Oftentimes, coaches at the collegiate level will choose to redshirt their promising youngsters in an effort to preserve their eligibility for the future.

Below, we take a guess at which of those star rookie athletes could be candidates for a redshirt season.
