The collegiate track and field postseason is finally here!

The NCAA Regional Championships are fast approaching and the entries -- as well as scratches -- have been announced.

Below, we're taking a look at what events a few standout American-based freshmen will be competing in over the next few weeks.


Athing Mu (Texas A&M)


The Texas A&M superstar has run 1:57 for 800 meters this year.

That, however, isn't the event that Mu will be pursuing in the postseason. Just like at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March, Mu will go after the 400m and 4x400m relay double.
