The biggest news in the track and field recruiting world is the recent commitment of Science Hill's Jenna Hutchins (TN) to BYU.
The current junior has risen to the top of the high school ranks over the past few seasons. She has run 9:49 for 3,200 meters and 15:34 for 5,000 meters on an outdoor track, the latter being an outdoor national record.
Hutchins is also the first girl to run under 16 minutes for 5,000 meters in cross country for a high schooler.

Her recent rise and overall success is well documented. In fact, one could argue that she is entering a tier that is truthfully not too far off from Katelyn Tuohy -- although, she's not quite there yet.
