When it comes to the college recruiting process, NCAA coaches often have a handful of criteria that they evaluate when attempting to land certain recruits. Sure, you obviously have to be talented and fit the team culture, but there are other intangibles that help boost the stock of an athlete.

Aspects such as range, consistency and experience are all important factors that college coaches often want to see in their incoming athletes. The level of which an athlete is competing now, or has competed in, remains one of the most important indicators of ability in the NCAA.
