On Feb. 10, high school hurdle star Alexander Nunley of Garner, North Carolina, announced his signing to North Carolina State starting in the fall of 2021.
Currently ranked at No. 5 in our latest MileSplit Class of 2021 Recruit Rankings, Nunley is one of his class' top hurdle recruits.
During the 2020 indoor track season, the future Wolfpack star was ranked side the top 100 nationally in a grand total of five different events -- all of which turned out to be new personal bests. In four of those events, he was ranked in the top 50 nationally; in two, he was ranked in the top 10.
Despite respectable, national-caliber success in non-hurdle events like the 55m dash, 60m dash, 100m dash, 300m and 400m, Nunley's greatest strength is in the hurdles.
