North Carolina seems to be a popular landing spot for collegiate distance recruit nowadays.

On Monday, we wrote about the UNC Tar Heels, and the recent superstar recruits that they were able to land from the Class of 2021.

But just down the road, roughly 28 miles southeast of Chapel Hill in Raleigh, NC State has been making incredible waves in women's cross country over the past year. 

When it came to recruiting the Class of 2020, the Wolfpack women ended up securing what may have been the greatest coup of women's distance recruits ever.

Commitments from Katelyn Tuohy and Marlee Starliper -- two all-time greats from New York and Pennsylvania -- gave this team an unfathomable amount of future firepower and immediate assistance in NC State's efforts to hopefully win a cross country national title -- a goal that, for obvious reasons, has been delayed.
